Water Temperture Gauge Problem!!!!!!!!!!!
Need help i was driving my car and all of a sudden my water temperature gauge droped and stoped working. I let the engine cool then turned it on again the needle started rising as it warmed up but after a couple of minutes it just droped again and stopped reading the temperature of the engine. Im thinking of just replacing the water temp. sensor but i dont know where it even is. Any suggestions of what it can be or where the temperature sensors are so i can check for loose wires.

It's on the front of the car
I would bet it's the thermostat-it may even be the temperature sensor located on the driver side of the head. I had my thermostat stick on me causing it to show my car running at 230
