Background.... I have access to a PS3 and an Xbox 360

Question..... Whats an awesome Racing game for either of these platforms, I looked at I think it was grid that looked prty good i saw that it had an american muscle part of its, but what are some other good ones?

I have to be honest and say i havent played GT4 but that kinda seems like the best. My brother plays Pro Street like its his job though so I dunno. My vote would go to GT4. I loved GT3!

If your looking for the most realism then get GT4 for the PS3 or forza 2 for the 360.
I prefer GT4 but both are great games, very realist as far as motors, suspension, speeds, weight, tranny ect. ect.
or you can go with like a need for speed game where all cars preform about the same

Motor Storm 2 comes out in oct. for the ps3, the trailor looks awsome. Thats if you like off roading type racing. The original Motor Storm rocks IMO.

Nah im looking for street racing with a lot of possible customizations, Im not too worried bout graphics, but they are a plus

i like grid but i sucked at it and could win one event and i then my controler learned to fly....i havnt play'd since.....stupid walls getting inthe way of flying controlers...


o also check out burnout ...their all awsoeme ( xbox 360 )

Gran Turismo is an amazing series... But 4 is only for the PS2 so it will lack in graphics... Also you can't change the paint color or add body customizations. And as of right now the 5th installment is only avaliable as a Prologue. You can't customize the cars, but it makes online racing very intense. Also there aren't very many cars avaliable (but the one's you can get are good.) And like all other GT's its cuircut only.

Forza 2 is good all around due to its total control over just about everything on the vehicle. Cuircut racing only though.

NFS Pro Street is another good one... It has several different race types (Cuicut, Drag, Drift, and Speed) but has the shortest car list of the 3 (still somewhat large... Around 55, but 21 more are avaliable through Collectors Edition and a Booster Pack) and of course like all Need For Speeds you can customize just about everything on the car... Plus you get to do a burnout before you drag race.

forza 2 is a bad ass game... but when GT5 comes out... i'll be purchasing a small refriderator, canned goods, a small microwave, and some adult diapers and sit in my chair for a month playing that game...
