Epic Fail indeed. Too bad (good choice?) you had a helmet on. Now that would have been Epic with idiocy which gets bonus points.
BTW, I'm pretty Uncle Sam wouldn't like you damaging all the $$$$ he stuck into your training.....

Lighten up bud, it was a joke.
Military anecdote: One cold December day in Colorado (Fort Carson) while I was helping a tank crew get their M60 ready (I drove an M577 while I was attached to a tank battalion) I slipped and fell off the damn thing and dislocated my shoulder.
Now that's an EPIC FAIL!

My buddy dropped the bomb.....literally....
He builds bombs and large caliber bullets for the Air Force, and dropped a bomb off the fork lift by accident.....
Fortunately, they don't put the heads on them til after shipment, but people still shit their pants.

Funny stuff. You better practice on something lower, like a curb.

its just that everytime someone we work with posts something similar to this or anything about us having fun we get comments about wasting tax payers money, and obviously we dont do anything over here. Its gets a little old after working 12 hours a days 7 days a week to get shit about having a little fun. You may have been joking but there are enough people that arent to trigger that response. I apologize.

I hear you and thanx for the apology. I remember when I dislocated my shoulder the section leader (O2 - I was on good terms with all the officers as I was the CO's driver) jokingly said, "Damn, more paperwork. Now I'm gonna have to sue you for destroying government property."
