I share this to make everyone aware, bed bugs are coming back! We just lived it!
We stayed at a super nice lake hotel $235 a night.... Water Street Inn in Boyne City MI. When we went to go to sleep, we saw a bug when we pulled the sheets down. It was bigger than a tick! Then we found another, and the deeper we tore the bed down, the more we found!
We thought those things were a joke or something in a cheap hotel, something microscopic, but oh no! They can be big and move pretty good too. These things suck your blood while you sleep to the point where they can barely pull their blood filled body around! So gross!
We left the place for another in Petoskey, so we are clean and lucked out, but if you're staying in any hotels soon, learn what to look for! These bugs like to hitch hike and once in your house, they are hell to get rid of! There are plenty of horror stories on line. Check out You Tube too.

the bed bugs i know about cause respritory failure, but they are really small

Michigan is known for their bed bugs. They're like the Texas of bed bugs. Everyone else's bed bugs are microscopic but the ones in Michigan steal cars.
