Question about cobalt ss

a guy at work today was telling me that his stage three cobalt ss with 60 lb injectors is putting out 307 hp at the wheels not the crank. just curious can this be true i dont know shit about those cars and i was wondering cause hes always talking shit about smoking me, im all stock other than flowmaster cat back and if hes putting down that horse might be wasting my time. dont know what yall think

I was at the track 2 weeks ago and seen a cobalt run 13.8 consistantly!! I asked the guy what was done to it and he said it was only tuned but everything else was stock. He said that by the time he's done he should be running about 11-12's.

It is possible.
Similiar to the SRT-4 Neon with how they respond to mods. They can pick up power fairly quick and sorta cheap.

If he says he has that power...he would probably beat you as well.

yeah mine does sound better but im pretty sure hes full of shit cause he aslo told me hes had it above 160 that i have a real hard time believing who knows maybe we can run them for fun if it ever stops raining here

Not only does yours sound better, it looks way better! It will also waste that crappy mouse motor on the top end where he will run out of juice and rpm's. No matter what, you have the nicer car!

Heres a stage 2 wit some good mods gettin smoked. Found out they do high 13's at best with stage 3 and it cums with a 50 shot of Nitrous setup. The new ones are turbocharged they have 260hp 260tq stock and go low 14's 1/4mile. So it might be possible if he has the turbocharged one.
