    T-Top's....

On the inside looking up at the t-tops where the little silver bar comes out and goes into the hole (Into the frame) when your locking the handle, there is about an 1"- 1" 1/2 gap....So much to where I can see the silver bar. Is this normal? It's on both sides! I have both of them locked in. I'm at work and I cant download any pics yet but I do have pics.

Just from memory, I believe mine are very tight towards the front with a small gap at the back. I can't get any pics though as my car is in the shop getting the tranny put back in : )

Looks more like a 3/4 inch gap at most, not bad. Main thing is that they are equal from side to side which means the car hasnt been tweaked.

that's bad...very bad. Might wana a frame shop to look at the car to make sure it's not twisted improperly.

I think mine are like that too. I wouldn't worry.

does the car have a salvage title? or are those the original t-tops that came with the car?

No salvage title, original t-tops that I know of. Car only had 71,000 miles on it when I brought it. The t-tops don't leak at all. Some tell me it normal, some say it isn't.....
