    Anyone know about leather/knife sheath?

    I have an old stag handle youth hunting knife my grandfather gave me when I was young. I want to give it to my son now. The knife is in great shape as well as the sheath, except that the knife if loose in the sheath now.

    It does have a snap around the handle, but I want to shrink or tighten the sheath back up so it is safer.

    Anyone know how?

    I think I can just get it wet, and put the knife in it and it will reshrink, but I'm not sure.

    Take it to a shoe repairman or leather shop & see if one can be made for it.
