Whats the best way to clean my home dvd player ?

Will alcohol and a q-tip cleaning the laser lens work fine ? Do the cleaning disc work ?

My dvd player sometimes reads the disc sometimes it doesnt. Did some online search on how to clean it, but like getting tips from live people lol

If I knew...I would give it to you.

Someone else charged $70 at a video rental place to my card....why shouldn't you be able to???

I use a product called CRC QD electronic cleaner and dry compressed air. I use this stuf on multi thousand dollar control cards with good results.
I also used it to fix my company cell phone after it fell in the toilet.
