Just saw the 2010 SS built on t.v.

It's on National Geographic t.v.. Really, really cool show on the SS being built. Probably the most surprising thing that struck me is that it takes only 18 hours to build it.

It is on again tonight at 11 p.m.

Ahahah I used to hear rumors of that stuff, never actually heard of anyone really finding anything, that's sorta funny, sad, but funny.

Bearings/BBs/Marbles in a door panel would be freakin' horrible.

Yeah, caught the end of it. I'm gonna watch the whole thing at 11.

Pretty cool how they do the alignment and the water sealing tests. Funny if some one would claim that its never been in the rain when it was in the factory

I used to be an installer at a car stereo shop. We had these people come in mad as hell because after I worked on their car, they had this sound like a marble in their door panel. I think on that particular installation, I had nothing to do in the door if I remember right, but even if I did... no marbles in the door panel. It was in a mini-van and they had kids... couldn't possibly have been a kids toy or something... NO... it HAD to be the installer, right?

Turns out it was a marble. It was in the track of the seat so when they accelerated/decelerated, they could hear it going forward and backward.

    "oh, sorry"

Yeah, that water seal test was pretty low budget after 55 minutes worth of technology and awe.
