We need a bit more info, like your budget range and what kind of power you want. Are you going to put a cam in it as well?

I personally run PRC stage 2.5 5.3L heads. Hard to beat the price. There are better performing heads out there but you're gonna pay for it.

Do you have an air lid yet? Honestly, to save yourself money, I would wait till you get your new motor to get heads, that way you don't have to buy another set or make less power on your new motor b/c your heads aren't as good as they could have been.

i like that "you got a hemi haha" under your name. i think it's so funny when people say yeah but this has the hemi in it.........i always think yeah there is a reason they had to put that much hp in it since it weighs as much as a dump truck. sorry to be off topic.

PRC has a lot of good bang for the buck deals, I would go with something of theirs since you aren't keeping the motor in your car for that long.

I would say Patriot stgII ls6 heads. I was going to run these but I ended up going with the Patriot LQ9 stgII heads because im runing boost. Everything I have read about the LS6 heads have been good. Also very affordable something like $1300 with valves and springs. There customer service is great as well, give them a call and ask.

Personally I like AFR if aftermarket, and PRC for ported OE castings.

Red- 1999 Chevy Camaro Z28
you could always just get your stock heads milled down a bit since a cam is not in your plans for future mods on this engine. It would atleast bring up compression some for you.
