Virus protection which one to get
I am using a down load version of AVG, and I have AD-Aware SE and my computer is acting up. I am going to Best Buy to buy one and need to know what I should get.

I have zone alarm...I have had it for almost 2 years and no viruses yet. You don't have to go to the store to get most anti-virus software, you can just buy them online and then download them. Do some research on google and you will find some sites that list all the software with its pros and cons.

I use Avast. Its free for home users. Avast detected a virus that nortons and a few other missed when I bench tested them. Avast is a mature product, its been around for awhile. Another nice thing about Avast it does not eat up a lot of your system resources.

Or even better dont waste the money on A/V dont run one. Just check your PC with sophos from time to time.

I prefer Norton over McAfee. I know someone who was renewing McAfee and it didn't work....dealing with their customer service in India sucked the big one! Finally had to call the credit card company to get a refund on it. If you never have to talk to em, you might be ok.
