yes mine did benefit. However the more you mod the more benefits you will reap from the lid up to a point.

You have sealed box CAI as an option too if you want something a little different than most.

Yes it will benefit. Actually a must before any other mods. Whichever the best deal you find is the one you should buy. They all do pretty much the same thing. (I have a Whisper lid, great piece) Skip the K&N filter. No HP gains there. Use a paper one.

Look my slp lid came as a package it is the new lid. it does not sit flush in the back. It is an SLP filter and Smooth bellows. Install???????? I can read directions very well. Did my own exhaust and will do my own head and cam package. I am in medical scool so to say my install is wrong is highly unlikely. I will PM you the photo's when I get a chance. May be a week or so due to schedule.

Maybe the SLP lid is designed with an aftermarket filter in mind. When I put mine on it didn't fit right, but then I remembered to take the foam ring my K&N came with off my stocker and stick on there and it fit snug afterwards.

i do have a slp lid that is new 3 weeks.. it did not seal like ever one has sead time and time agean .. but the onlt diffence from stock is that high denty foam... if any would look at the stock one and see the diffrence thats it .. now all i did is think how do i make it fit like stock.. make it like that one that works right" the stock one" put a peace of windo hdf that is like 2 bucks at a hardwhere store and put it on ther u can get it with one side of sticky so it will hold one just like your stock one .. if people would look at things a figrue things out instead of crying
ther would be some one who came up with a way to fix it.. not trying to be a dick but the point is that u have some that works and some thing thats "better" yeat does not seal right.. any one have a light bulb going off..i did and i made a way to fix the issue at hand..
