CAI.. need advice
What is the best CAI set up for a ws6.. or a regular T/A with the ws6 hood? because for example the suncoast hood opens up at top instead of the air coming in from the front... also if you could give me a link where to get it that would be great... thx

You should be fine with just a lid and filter.
Other then that getting an upper and lower intake you wont see much difference

i read some where for intake manifolds unless you have.. something.. dont' remember what it was.. but unless you have somethin you don't really need the fast intake manifold, and the LS6 will do you just fine

Debaffling and sealing the stock setup has been track proven to .1 to .2 gains in the quarter and +1 to +3mph. Unfortunately no one makes a kit to buy anymore and you have to do it yourself.
Debaffling and sealing, and ensuring the lower airbox was changed to the larger WS6 one.
Here is a chart posted on one of the other sites about 'Ram Air' functionality. Aside from the pressure gains above 50mph, the cooler IATs (from idle through higher speeds) are really what you're after here. Debaffling and sealing are very inexpensive too.

I spent $25 at Lowes on plexiglass. They even cut it to size, you just have to cut out the center and cement it together. Add weatherstripping, screw it on with self tapping screws and you have a sealed hood in about an hour. (I left the front baffles in for rain insurance as you see in the picture, but removed the rear to improve flow a bit)

yeah but it's expensive ... i'm sure you could do it on your own and have basically the same effect for WAY less

debaffled and sealed mine..$7 weather stripping rubber foam 1 1/4 in.wide 7/16in thick ..used three layers ..some electrical tape so when i close the hood it goes smoothly over the air box without rippin the seal..seems to work good ...throttle response seems better on the highway..
A4 debaffled,sealed,full SLP exhuast,SLP lid,blackwing
