Pro 5.0 Power Tower Shifter
I got this shifter a few months ago and also got the Lou's short stick at the same time. The difference is incredible. Everything works flawlessly. The only downside is that the base seems to transfer heat from the tranny more readily than the stock shifter, which means the stick will get kinda hot, but thats an easy fix: dont touch it. Shifts are real good and firm, but I guess it could be called a little hard to shift by some. I like it though.
Just make sure you put thread locker on the bolts that hold the shifter stick to the base. Mine came loose and started rattling. Same thing goes for the stops.
All in all: very good product. I would reccommend it to anyone.

I'm running the Pro 5.0 also, but using a speed inc, short stick thats angled. It gives a great feel and easy shifts too.
Also I havent had any heat problems, you might want to change out your tranny fluid for some fresh fluid, less friction.

the heat isnt really a problem, its just something i noticed. don't know if the stock shifter was doing the same thing and i just didnt notice it.

Black- A car
I wrote a review about this before the board was wiped, but I agree with everything posted so far. It's very knotchy when first installed, but after some time it will break in and get a little easier. I'm running a TNA shortstick from E-bay right now, but you can also cut the 5.0 stick down about 1" and still use it. There's more noise trasnfer than with the stock shifter due to elimination of rubber isolators, but nothing that bad. I put a paper gasket under the shifter to help out with that.
All in all, BMR Ripper or Pro 5.0, this is a must do mod for a 6-speed. I think it should be the first mod done.

I love my Pro 5.0. It did get a little smoother after some wearing in. To me it feels perfect now.
