Epic: Maersk Alabama attacked by Pirates, again!

Ok, so you guys remember when the captain of the Maersk Alabama was attacked in the beginning of the year and the captain was taken captive by pirates, and then Navy SEALS rescued him? Well, some pirates tried to attack the SAME ship again, but this time the ship was packing private guards with automatic weapons, and some high-tech gizmos. The security guards won. HAHA

LRAD, it's basically a really loud speaker system that can be focused on a crowd or vehicle.

We have an LRAD. It's used for crowd dispersement. It's basically just very irritating and has the ability to focus the sound. I have heard that the beam width can be made extremely narrow and if held on a person long enough, make them nauseous. The only times I've seen it used, it just got a crowd to move away from an area. Well-placed PepperBall made them RUN away.

The LRADa sort of looks like a DirecTV dish. Not really THAT impressive, IMHO.
