Spaz's engine wash technique...
well... we all know that it's a bitch to was our engins... i don't have near enough time to read all of the sticky thread so this may be old news...
first i start off with windex... yup... i spray it all over my engine... every where in there...
i turn my car on and let it get to running temp then i shut it off and hose it down with water...
i let it cool down for 5 mins (great chance to crack open a beer on the hot days) and then i spray down the engine with armour all...
again i turn my car on and let it get to running temp then i shut it off and hose it down with water...
then... i get a crappy beat up old t-shirt and whipe down every thing i can get to with out beat up my hands and knuckles to much...
then i get out tire shine... and spray that all over (try to keep away from the pully belts) rub that stuff in with the beat up shirt and then i turn the car on again get to running temp...
when i'm done every thing looks like new...

My air filter for the hood ram air on top is completley exposed k&n. So for me to do that, I would have to take off the hole damn air box and bag the tube.

Blackety Black- 35th Anniversary SS
That would only take 5 mins. and when you're done you will have a shiny new motor.
I don't know about spraying the whole motor down when it's hot tho. Aluminum expands and contracts way more than steel. And to cool it off that fast with water i just feel that could do harm...

SPAZ, you don't need to clean your engine! You blow it up before it gets dirty, then you put a new one in!

Your engine bay does look good!
