Cracked door panel?
Just a thought but, has anyone successfully glued their door panel back together? If so what type of glue did you use?
I realize it will still show but it might still be better than the gap. Mine is at the top probably like everyone elses. Just hate to shell out the cash for a replacment if it's going to crack again.I was here before the server crashed.

I used fiberglass on the inside of the panel. I pulled out the staple that was over the crack and replaced it with just a regular staple. (for paper) Then I just put a layer of fiberglass over the staple and the whole crack. It came out perfect. You can't even tell its cracked without looking REALLY hard.

My door panels are cracked aswell. i though it was from someone trying to pull the pannels off to do repairs. i just put epox on the backs of them to keep it from getting worse. Might have to glass it or cover them down the road.

Me too. Sounds like a good alternative.
I had my passenger window motor replaced under warranty. Month or two later it cracked so the mechanic must have tweaked it when he put it back on. I also see he didn't put the led back in place correctly because now instead of a red dot I have white light leaking out from under the handle. I'd take it back but the dealership is under new owners and they would probably balk at standing behind it.

Or you can wrap your door in leather or vinyl.

Crack
Yes, the wrapped inserts look nice but my panel has a vertical crack from the top where it meets the glass to the insert.
Anyone know if this problem is prevalent through all the years of the 4th gens?
