Whats a decent radar detector

Just want to know who makes a decent radar detector. This is a gift for someone so im not looking for a v1 or the 8500 nor do i want to just go and get a cheap whisler.. Only ones i can see are the cobra's

I have a $40 Cobra one from walmart. It beeps when cops radar you. But it also beeps when they don't

u dont need a radar.....if a cop starts chasing you just do a wheelie...and he will eat ure dust

if I hit the naws at the same time as popping a wheelie, I can actually flip the car over and behind a chase car... and then I'll pull him over and give him a ticket for wasting his time... he should know a thirdgen isn't fast enough to break any laws.
