Shifters? Which one to get?
What are your opinions on the diff brands? How is the Pro-5.0? Hurst? B&M? Fidanza? Kirban? I'm guessing the shifter in my car is a Hurst, personally I hate it. Throws are too long and 3rd gear scrapes every time if you try to shift very fast. I thought the first few time it was operator error but i'm thinking not now. Is there some adjustment in the shifter or anything I can do for now?

I've got a Pro 5.0 and I love it. I would go with it. My buddy has a '96 Camaro with a B&M and I know he's been wanting a 5.0.

I love my B&M. Much better than the stocker IMO.

I just found out while changing my clutch I have a Bitch and Moan rip-off shifter. It sucks so i know I dont want that one. I'm gonna order the Pro 5.0 and see how it goes, hopefully it will aid in the decimation of every mustang owner i come across.

I have a Pro 5.0 and its been great. Never miss 3rd.
I also installed a WS6 Store Short Stick to lower the overall height of the shifter, ass well as slightly shorten the overall throw

Black- WS-6 2002
Just thinking about changing my shifter on my 02 T/A and I have a set of SLP line locks - I checked out Summit for a better system and they have the white hurst 6 speed shitft ball with the button located on the side of the knob for line locks or nitrous. Is there any other brands available? If so where?

I had a Kirban in mine and loved it, but doing it over again I would go with a pro 5.0 or possibly the Hurst Comp with the chrome lever for the old school looks.

Ok, gotta change sumthing. Replaced my clutch and found out some jackass put a Bitch and Moan Ripoff shifter in there. I'm leaning towards the pro 5.0 or maybe the Hurst. Thanks for the help guys.

Pewter- 2002 Camaro SS
Which One?
I have the optional Hurst shifter w/a WS6 Store short stick and a Hurst pistol grip shifter. I really like this combo, short throws, good feel and looks pretty cool too.

Chances are, if you are grinding 3rd, a new shifter will not fix it. The damage is already done. But, I am not saying that it will not make the grinding go away. I had the factory Hurst in mine and the tranny would grind in more than 2 gears most of the time. I installed hoping that it would go away. It didn't.
Funny thing is, after I installed my 4:10's, the grinding disappeared!!!!
Anywho! Go with the Hurst Billit Plus or my fav., the PRO-5.0!
