Are there any well respected shops in southern illinois area?

I moved away from home where there was a pretty well respected shop that I could take my car to. Then I moved to Carbondale, Illinois to attend SIU-Carbondale. I just needed to know if there are any good shops down in this part of state. Maybe around St. Louis? Speed Inc is pretty amazing from what I hear, but they're up close to chicago, and that's like a 5 hour drive for me.... one way. I am looking to get a tune and possibly some other stuff done here pretty soon so any help would be great. Thanks guys!

Man Ive looked for awhile now, not to much down here, it sucks. I wish we still had our world championship speed shop here in wayne county where im at.

sweet does he deal much with f bods?

Not sure. He had a sweet 95-96 Firehawk in the shop the last time I stopped in. He works on anything. Like I said he has a little back ground in raceing stock cars, ( did his own engines ) and now has his own shop. McDougal Auto Repair
