out of ballance
is it true that the GTO's have tire ballanceing problems with aftermarket rims and tires, ive heard that since the cars are built overseas the stock tires and rims are slitlee different, hence the ballance problem, or is that a bunch of bull???

Black- 06 Chevy Caprice HT (RIP)
Its a bunch of bull..
I swapped mine out ages ago with no issues. My friends have GTO style luminas with radical wheels packages from the states and they run smoothly...
If you have bad vibrations it may be that the rim is defective...Had one of them, couldnt figure it out...

It's NOT the Goat!! It's the cheap ass aftermarket wheels that aren't hub centric. Meaning the wheel is centered by wedgeing itself on the hub ring which keeps it centered. The cheap after market ones use the lugs to center the center hub dia. is made large to fit multiple applications.
And on your poll ? the years are too far spread being that the 04's only hade a LS1 and 05/06's had LS2's which are bigger and more powerful.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

Yeah, bunch of bull.....Either bad tire or bad wheel. If there were something like that wrong with the GTO all of us would know about it by now.
