1997 Grand Cherokee- 1999 Firebird.
Has anyone here had their license suspended for speeding?
My license is on probation until April because of speeding. Well, I acquired more than 12 points in about a year and a half and it was put on probation for 12 months. Well, I got another ticket last week. Only 2 more fucking months to go!
Anyway, I guess this will suspend my license but I don't know for how long or if I'm able to get a hardship to go to work and back. Anyone been through this before? I know I had some points drop off of my driving record a few months ago so maybe that will cover my new ticket? ANY help would be great. He got me doing 66 in a 55 btw.

Yes I lost it toal for 13 months at 18 when I bought my first street bike.
Clocked at 209km which was an automatic court date.
I had rode dirt bikes and enduro's since I was 8 years old but really has no idea how fast an 1100cc street bike was. I just bought the bike and was my first highway run just out of town to shake it down.
Judge did not believe me that I just cracked it open and went through the six gears and did not know how fast I was going.

I got mine suspended for 6 months from speeding, had 3 tickets or somin before hand then I got popped for 120 in a 30 which got me an R&D charge which I managed to beat but got stuck with a $500 ticket and lost my licsense anyways since it was #4 in a year. def learned my lesson.. but the next year some bone head old lady slammed on her brakes in front of me for no reason and I needed another 2feet to stop..like $200 worth of paint damage and even tho it was her fault I got screwed since in a rear end collision your automatically at fault, so i lost my licsense for another 6 months. other than that I dont know the laws in your state so I cant offer any advice really, just slow down, 5mph over is the most I do anymore

Lost mine for a year when I was 17, for multiple speeding tickets. Had a red license (only drive to work and drivers ed) for 3 months and a probationary for 9 months.
Do you have to go to court for the new ticket, if you do, I would try and postpone it for as long as possible, until you are off probation.

Red with Silver Graphics- 02 35th SS Camaro Ragtop
I learned all I wanted to know about speeding/tickets when I was 18-20 years old. Have had 1 speeding ticket in the last 25 years ago or so, it was B.S. but I deserved many others on the freeways at times.
My rules for speeding, never speed in town, it makes no sense & you only get to the red light faster than the next guy, plus if you are speeding, you might be tempted to run the yellow/red & maybe you meet someone like yourself coming in the oppsite direction, In any case, speeding in the city/town is a waste of fuel, frustration & puts you & your licesne at risk. On the hwy I try & travel with the flow, no faster. On long trips I try and find a spot away from the trucks & buses & stay there, try & keep the rock chips to a minimum.
