I have a catback set up with headers! there is 2 spots ready for motors...Do they still suck even when you do it right after the headers?

Nice that is what I like ...(LOL) I have herd of many people having problems with them..If price is not a factor is there a cut out that will last through the beating? I want to put them in and not have to monkey with them every other month.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
This is what I did.
I can use this, a mostly stock motor can't.
Mine are only open at the track.
And I dislike the electric ones. They clog and stop sealing. Or even stop working.

I wouldn't go with dual cutouts on a mostly stock motor.
One after a good y-pipe will be more than enough.
My motor is built....and still didn't gain much with them open.

Are you doing for ex. volume or are you trying to gain max power.....?
Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

e-cutouts are a fun mod. I love mine. With headers and no cats it's really limited as to how much I can run it open due to how loud it is. I would recommend that mod to anyone. I use a McCord Power Plate with no issues so far and it's been on the car for almost 2 years.
