Should both fans always come on with A/C??
My car isn't overheating or anything, but somebody told me the fans should always be on when the AC is on max... is that right? Both of my fans are definitely cycling, not running constantly.
It's probably bad info I received, but I thought I would check.

I have LED's wired to mine with them set to come on low - turning the AC on after just starting the car, AC on max temp - low is on, high speed kicks on for about 45 seconds - then turns off, and then cycles on/off according to temp. I normally run my AC set at the 3 o'clock position, low speed is usually on - but both lights will go off when it cools down or it starts raining.

both fans should always be on when the a/c is on. this is normally considered both hi and low speed fans. the manufacturers do this to ensure you dont overheat when your engine has the extra workload of running your a/c.

I have a 2000 Trans Am, WS6, LS1 and both fans come on when the A/C is on.
