Killed a 1st gen GSX Eclipse last night

I was cruising home from playing horseshoes and I see this car shooting up on my right, so I figure I'll let him pass to see what it is. Ended up being a GSX Eclipse, 1st generation style. When he went by I noticed the 3 pillar gauges & a huge whistle from his blowoff valve, also had an aftermarket exhaust. Knowing these cars can be built quick if done right I felt like I finally had a good street race on my hands. After another 1/2 mile or so we end up next to each other, although not at a light, I would have like to see how hard he could launch with the AWD, but oh well. We punched it from a 30-35mph roll and I put a few buses on him at which point he decided to lay back and switch lanes. I kept my eye on him and sure enough he built up a full head of steam possibly for a ricer flyby. I let him get to my rear bumper, this was at about 60-65 mph for me, and when he reached there I punched it in 3rd and stopped his pull and put about 3-4 cars on him up to around 100, by the time I reached 110-115 his car fell flat on its face and he was a bit behind.
I was even cool and waved over when I turned off and I got no response, oh well shit happens.

Good kill, they will never learn - 4 cylinders can be quick but not fast.

yesterday this guy was on my ass out in the country, and he went to pass (yea right) and i just punched it from 2k in third gear, he pulled a fender on me untill i hit 2.5 k or so and then i just keep him besides me,

the reason i did this is because he was riding my ass then trying to pass on DOUBLE SOLIDS ON A BLIND CURVE, lucky for him and probably me, there was no one coming

nice race man way to prove you point, dam kid around here that drives a 3000gt yellow with a carbon fiber hood

and every time i see him he starts talkin how V8s anit nothin but noise, so i cant wait to get my car and smoke his ass hard

i ran a GSX Eclipse back when my car just had a H/C/I N/a 302 the guy in the Eclipse said he had 350rwhp

i smoked him pretty good without getting on it much ...i just had picked my Rott up from the vet when i took off while racing the Gsx my dog was thrown in the back seat so i had to let off it a little.. he didnt have anything for me

Can't agree there....The reason I was wary of this guy is because there is another 1st gen GSX in the neighborhood which is bulit right and strong. He runs a 11.7 in the 1/4....think he sold the car though but it shows if done right they can be fast.
