    wiper problems

okay i just got my first TA and i love it. One of the problems it had when i got it was the wipers parked in the upright position. So i just changed the motor out and it parks fine, the only thing is is on intermittent it goes up and stops a few seconds and then goes back down. It also beats the heck out of the air inlet plastic piece where they park at. It parks fine when i turn it off but this intermittent thing is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Welcome to the site..

It's either a wiper pulse board problem, or the common BCM or body control module issue.

i'm thinking its the wiper motor/relay bc the first one wouldn't park right and the second one doesnt' do intermittent right. if it was the bcm wouldn't it do it all the time regardless of the motor? thanks for the welcome

No.. When the BCM solder joints start to go it may do a number of strange things including wipe out every pulse board it's connected to over time or right now.

Doing the relays first is also a good cheap place to start though..

add, that my 01 camaro did exactly what you've described before the faulty BCM killed the pulse board too.

Can I re solder or do I have to get a new bcm? I've got to get another motor and c if it does the same thing. Also gonna check and make sure my assembly is moving like it should. I'd hate to have put it on wrong but I don't c how I could if all speeds work it's just parks wrong on intermittent.
