04 gto Alternator >????
I have a lq4/lq9 (not sure) but its one or the other
on my 04 gto...question is ....the alternator bracket..??I noticed only one bolt goes into the block..I see where the second bolt should go(longer bolt) but the block need to be drilled/tapped. Now Ive heard of owners not using that bolt(the one that needs to be tapped) and only haveing 2 bolts connecting to the block..But I can only find 1 bolt to go in?? how are owners getting 2 bolts going to block without tapping the block??? pics would be great if any

Possibly using the bracket for that specific engine? Remember, the LS and LQ motors have some interchangeable parts. Is your alternator on the top or bottom of your engine?
