05 Ducati 999- 06 Mazdaspeed6
My New Toy!
I got this about 3 weeks ago, just now getting around to posting up pics of her. Its an 05 Ducati 999. Bought it from my cousin and he is one of those guys that over takes care of something so i know its in amazing condition. We already went for a trip on the blue ridge parkway (as you can see from the last pic) and it was amazing!

I looked at getting nearly that same Ducati. Those bikes are sick! But being a first time rider I've decided against it and am going to get a CBR600RR instead.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Art sculpture right there. Strong motor teamed with a nice, sturdy titanium frame. I remember a few years ago when I went to a motorcycle show in NYC. I sat on a few Ducs. I sat on a MonsterDark and it felt like a moped.

Thanks guys, 310 Yea the power is really smooth all the way through and its basically always there, not like the inline 4's where you have to rev em to the moon. One of my favorite things about the bike is listening to the dry clutch!

Ohh and Cammed, the same cousin i bought my 999 from has a monster as well and it was awesome, such a fun bike. He had a set of Renthal Fat bars on there (which are dirtbike bars) and i felt right at home since i have been riding dirt since i was 2.

Yea the monster your in more of an upright position. If you dont want a full on sport bike but dont want a cruiser I recommend the monster 100% Also a Kawi ER-6 or Suzuki SV are really good cross bikes.

nice looking duc. that seat looks miserable though. no frame issues? that's the one drawback that i always heard was poor welding on the frames...but then again i also heard that they upped their quality control since then.

I dont have a problem with it, It actually was better than my buddies ZX-10. It handles very well.
1mile- yea the seat is a bit miserable when riding for a while and your not actively turning. As far as the frame its in perfect shape, no problems at all and i dont know of any other 999's that had a problem, but then again i have only been around mine and 3 others.

Was going to get a new duck monster until I checked the forums and the tanks are warping. After that , there was no way I could justify buying one. They are beautiful bikes but I just didn't want to deal with it.
