Weren’t they basically the same car as the Lincoln LS in those years? That is about all I know about them though...

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
You buy a Jaguar if...
1. You like not arriving at your destination.
2. You like having the car spend half the year in the shop.
3. You enjoy spending ~$150/hr for said repairs.
4. You get a thrill driving a car into the deserted or desolate areas of you city/state and not knowing if you'll return let alone arrive...
I think by now you know what I'm getting at.

Silver- 2005 Toyota Corolla (DD)
1. Fake ballin' / faux rich
2. Have your friend check out the engine sleeve issues Jaguars had (I believe around that time)
3. No reason to own a used Jaguar unless you're a Jaguar mechanic with full access to dealership repair facilities and equipment

Looks-wise though, I still really like the XK convertibles!
There's a guy in my office somewhere that drives an S-Type. I'll see if I can find him and ask his opinion...

He would be better off with a 3 series around the same model year if he wants a luxury entry level vehicle

The only reason to buy a jag is so you can tell all your buddies you own one. It will then sit it in a garage(or shop) most of its life while you DD a better more reliable car.

Only thing worse then a Jaguar is a used jaguar lmao I wouldnt even think about buying that car, I don't care how "good" the deal seems. My guess is if he needs a good deal on a used jaguar he can't afford the upkeep, repairs etc on it.
