How to get better hands?
While overall I'm pleased with what life has given me, this is always something I have been unhappy with about myself.
I look at my fathers hands: Large, strong, rough, and calloused; bronzed and hardened from his days fighting African bushfires (Serious, he went to boarding school in Rhodesia and they made him do that shit), past wounds scarred, current wounds oozing, and even a hollow thumb caused by a flesh-eating snakebite from decades prior... his hands are more comparable to bears' paws than human hands.
Then I see my own before me: Small, weak, and frail; slender from years spent typing on a keyboard and playing computer games. It's as though the only quality separating my hands from those of a woman is the lack of fingernail varnish.
Speaking of women, I have not once held the hands of a female within my own without her commenting on "how soft my hands are." As I pride myself on manliness, she might have well told me she was disappointed with the length and girth of my member.
So please, members of ls1.com... what can I do? What will give my hands the characteristics that will make it look like I can do something outside of a kitchen?

Age and time will diminish the sensitivity of your hands. There is nothing wrong with your hands. Rough hands are not a fashion statement (in my opinion).
I spent a decade working heavy construction and my hands turned to crap. Now twenty years later I am grateful to be a keyboard jockey because my hand look far more youthful than if I had stayed in a physical occupation.
My wife has quite sensitive skin and if I had rough hands I would be far less successful with taking care of business in her more sensitive areas... Hands are all about what you can do with them rather than being an advertisement for masculinity.Last edited by tnthub; 11-18-2010 at 04:13 PM.

I have a job, but it's menial and not physically intensive... Should I just go in the backyard and dig holes until my mom yells at me?
Hmmm... all very good points. Hadn't thought of the implications of the last one...
Funny you should mention that, I spoke with a recruiter briefly a few months ago. Unfortunately, due to the medical requirements, we can't talk seriously until 1 year has passed since a prescription ended, which will be around April of next year. Until then I'm stuck in the mall, folding clothes, which is probably the most excruciatingly boring thing I've ever done in my life. The only saving grace is that I work with a bunch of young attractive chicks and a couple milfs too. Haters gonna hate.

assuming that this isn't another one of your troll threads, which it probably is, if memory serves correctly you stated in the past you workout regularly, like me, if this is true then you would have calloused hands. Although it is possible you could be using workout gloves. In that case just take them off, problem solved. Or on the other hand this is just another troll thread and I just wasted 1 min of my life feeding a troll. LOL

You can always cut yourself up on your hands (Heard it relieves stress also and feels emotionally good)

Punch some things too.
Marisa Miller said her hands got in pretty rough shape when she started doing some boxing.
