    2001 silverado

    looking for a cam for project

    i just bought a stock 5.7 ls1 out of a 2000 vette im going to stick it in my 2001 silverado just want somthing with a little chop nothing crazy just something that sounds good going in to a truck show

    Most popular for LS1 autos seem to be 224 or 228R. I have the 228R from Texas Speed. Love it. A little tough to tune though. Could be a bit more for my taste, but definately a soild cam which gets noticed.
