i took my cats off my 2000 t/a and my 98 formula, the formula has flowmaster and its too quite, hardly hear it, and my t/a has a slp loudmouth well that too loud, it cackles i hate cackle, anybody have any idea what a good muffler would be, im thinking of the magnaflow?

Magnaflow seems to be the most popular exhaust for out cars, with Borla a very close second.

do you have headers? since you already have the SLP loudmouth, i would recomend starting small and replacing the resonator with a magnaflow bullet muffler. i have that on my car with headers and ORY and get nothing but compliments

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
True duals with Magnaflows dumped at the axle here. Nice and mellow at idle and cruise, throaty and loud at WOT.

blue and white- 99 transam 30th vert
cats off
I have the hooker mufflers and exhaust with no cats and headers, great sound I think but it is not real quiet. Not nearly as loud as the loudmouths though. Magnaflows are nice as well.

To be honest. On stock manifolds they all sound pretty much alike, except lm1 and lm2.

Well since you said you have a LM I'm guessing it's a LM1 if so you could just swap it for a LM2 which goes right on or a Dynomax buller and moroso makes the spiral flows. Magnaflow makes a resonter that would bolt in but not sure how they sound only heard their catback. I had a Flowmaster before my SLP Power Flo and the flowmaster I though was too loud and raspy so a normal magnaflow catbach will be much too quiet for you. You can also look at Corsa they make some bullets that should mount in place of a LM muffler.
