12 bolt
looking at a 12 bolt moser. my car is a 99 ss and the rear is the stock 10 bolt 4 channel abs dics brakes, and traction control. the 12 bolt im lookin at is out of a 97 z but its a 3 channels with disc brakes. he said the rear is the stock length. will this directly bolt up to my car?? what needs to be done as far as the difference in 3 and 4 channel??? any other modifications that will have to be done?? ....thanx guys

Not sure if your ABS/TCS will work -- your current system runs a reluctor ring and sensor at the end of each axle. The ABS only axle has a reluctor ring in the differential and a sensor on the housing. Not sure if the ends of the axles to be swapped in have the appropriate lands on them to accept the rings. If they do, you can transfer them over. I would look this over carefully and get some input from other members. If you pics of what I am talking about, let me know. I just swapped a Moser 12 bolt into our car back in January.

That rear will only work if your not planning on using the TCS or the ABS.

Hmmm. Interesting. I thought there was something else going on between the 3-4 channel in order to make the ABS/TCS work.
Only the backing plates and reluctor rings being pressed on? 100% sure?
Where is your wiring coming from going out to the ABS wheel sensors?
