Who does rechrome on rims?

Anyone know who does rechrome on rims. I want to get my SLP chromed 10 spokes done during the winter.

I would just google chrome plating with your zip or whatever you guys use up there. You're in Canada right?

Thanks, there isn't anyone up here who will touch these. The problem is with the 10 spoke they have to attach an anode to each spoke. This requires an exclusive one-off setup. Guesstimates are around $1000/rim. I talked to atlaschrome in Houston, they might be able to do it for about $275/rim

That's a huge difference in price.

I thought about black chroming my rims but the prices were way too high, so instead ill be throwing a black powder coat with a silver lip for 75 a rim. Cant beat that price.

Powder with a high polished lip and clear the whole thing, thats the ticket!

why dont you try slp they might have some rims the would love to get rid of. you
know factory take offs or overstocks. also rk sport out of california used to have an exchange program for gm wheels. al

there is a company in cali that does it i forget the name off hand. if i find it i'll post it. i think it's orange county.

what about the replica wheel companies that offer wheels on exchange? you send them your wheels, they send you a new set. that would have to be cheaper than rechroming. I work at a car dealership and they do that all the time.

Here we go...., after a lot of searching and dead ends, I decided to send them to Wheel Repair Service in Santa Ana. Here are some before pics and I'll post pics when they come back. It will be a while as I'm using postal service both ways( saves on the ridiculous brokerage fees from UPS)
