Yea do it right can mean more than just thinking your getting the right stuff. ask around here and do a lot of reading on the net about what parts work, what there weaknesses are and do it right by taking your time. I thought I was doing it right and then my bad luck steped in and has me praying my 383 build wont break when I turn the key. SUCKS. I trusted someone to do the work for me and I ended up with an eagle cast rotating kit which most will tell you is a crap shoot if it will stay together. I can't say anything bad because I have not fired the engine yet but I am just praying I am not AGAIN one of the statistics.

TFS with some Yella Terra UL rockers set up by somebody who knows what thy are doing shold run high 10's easily with the proper supporting mods. AFR's are right behind and you can run stock rockers.....

i would call up texas speed, they have a bunch of heads that are design around that cam so you wont have to flycut, from budget to not so budget, i would seriously call them, and they will get you what you need

your budget is going to most likely dictate what heads you get. AFR, Trickflow, and TEA heads are generally all thought of as the top of the line heads and the price reflects that. Then there are PRC, patriot, and countless others that are generally thought of as budget heads. The budget heads IMO really aren't a bad way to go as they flow pretty good for the money you spend on them but if you're looking to get every little bit of HP out of the car then get one of the top of the line heads.

If you get their worked OEM heads you have to get the 243/799 castings with stock size valves (stage 1.5) and run stock thickness HG to clear w/o fly cutting.
If you have the $$$ TFS or AFR will easily clear. You could even mill the TFS to 62cc for a compression bump. Not sure if you could mill AFR's because I don't know the valve drop but I have seen them clear an MS4 with a .005 cleanup mill.....
