David - The paint scheme looks sweet IMO! Are you going to lower the car next? Too many people upgrade the hoood (and I can see why), but I definately like how you worked with the stocker! Sort of reminds me of a similar scheme that I've seen on some C5s. Pretty bad-ass none-the-less though!

I know lowering should be in a suspension thread, but what mixed advice are you getting?
Nothing wrong with lowering a car an inch IMO. I think it would give it a nice stance. There are other suspension modifications you "should" do when lowering though, which is maybe why some people have said things against it.
Example, lowering will change the geometry of the LCAs, which will decrease traction to the rear tires. The fix for this is to get relocation brackets. Lowering will also change how the rear sits on center with the car, so many people will advise getting an adjustable panhard bar to recenter it. As you can see, shit adds up quick.

I think the hood looks great. But, you should lose the stock grille
Love the rims. Not sure about the sail panel though.
Nice looking car.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
I like it. Has a "Collector Edition" look to it. Like a CE Z06 that there weren't many of. Nice work.
