I have a netflix account which is great I use it on my xbox 360 and my laptop, I got the basic plan its like 8$ a month. Anyone know why they have the best movies for DVD only and not instant streaming? You would think it would be cheaper then having to send out a dvd...any ideas?

I stream with my 360 and thought the same thing. I was very happy though when Conquerors of Shambala was available. I had to send back FOUR discs that were unusable so scratched up, then noticed it was on there. TITS.

Probably some dvd release copyright crap. The new zune update for 360 has some pretty new movies with the option to buy/rent. I saw the new Star Trek on there but it might only have the option to buy...dunno.

The 360/netflix combo is the best out there. My parents stream netflix on their LG blu-ray and it doesn't even come close to ease of use or options. They have to add to their instant que to watch movies on the LG...like it was when netflix first came to 360.

I was just talking to the wife about cancelling our movie channels and getting netflix to stream on our ps3. Pretty easy to use with Playstation? Does it lag/freeze?

It's a pay per use thing if u rent a movie, if u buy it it's yours but it's like 15-20 bucks. Cool thing is u can put the movie on your zune player too.
