The ones in DC only take a picture of the rear end of your car, no frontal. I got one on 295 for 63 in a 50. I argued that I wasn't driving the car because the car was currently in the shop getting a new fuel pump installed, and they were obviously taking the car out for a test drive to see if it was working. I said I would talk to the shop to figure out why my car was out of the state of Maryland, but that it was my issue, not DC's.

They bought it...granted it is only a $50 ticket, but I think speed cameras on highways are BS...everyone speeds and the police know it. I think that the pencil pushers in police departments are asking too much of their uniformed officers, like asking them to pull over more than is reasonable and not taking into account the amount of paper work involved. So as a solution, they are installing these cameras as a "fix".

They'll get pulled when enough people fight them. If enough people fight them, it will start to cost more to prosecute these petty tickets than they are bringing in in revenue.

Also, I will be getting my windshields (Trans Am and GTP) tinted 50% to fight these.
