make sure it shifts very smooth while test driving it.. you dont wanna have to mess with the slave, nor master cylinder a couple weeks after getting it.

Almost the same car I bought, a 98 ss. I like that it's a hardtop, mine came with the Kumho tires and I Hated them, air lid/exhaust is not stock if you are worried about originality, looks to have monsoon sound which is not bad, no ASR traction control.
Overall a very nice 98, let us know if you get it.

That seems to be very reasonable for a 55K mile SS. Are you buying it?

I dont really care about originality but im glad you said something about there being no traction control. I didnt even notice that. I think i will need it for sure in some of the places i will be driving.
I think i can get the price down a few grand cus like i said above. The blue book is only about 7600. And about getting it, we'll see what my insurance does when i ask them about it.

that sucks. if it was as nice as it seemed and with those miles, i wouldnt expect to have gotten it much cheaper if any though. and on the personal preference side, do you know how hard it is to find a non t-top car, either a m-6 or a-4, with no traction control as a bonus!

Silver- 1998 z28 convertible
It looked pretty nice to me but it looked kinda fishy it seemed to me like the drivers door was a little bit darker than the rest of the car but I could just be seeing things or just crazy. Probably a little of both.

it just seems that everything i see for sale is a t-top car. hardtops are rare to find for sale, i dont know if that makes them anything special, but its tough if you are looking for one. also seems like everything that came out of the factory had asr cuz they figured everybody would want it. i was very happy to find a hardtop non asr car and i had pros and cons about both transmissions so that wasnt a big factor.
