Egr/air delete!!!
I have a '00 T/A ws6. I have the SLP LS6 intake manifold with EGR. Just bought Kooks offroad headers and ORY. Now I need to do this EGR/ AIR delete since the headers have no emissions provisions. Is there a site that tells you how to do this? And what block off plates would I need, and where can I buy them?

you only need a plug to block off the egr on the intake,
This is a GM part number. 12558346.
GM used it for a recall on the 6.0L trucks for a low vacuum problem. They say it fits Ls1 intake perfectly. It's under $20
My kooks came yesterday, I am going the same as you, no air/egr

You might as well delete the whole air system. When you do the LTs you're going to have to remove the air hoses that run into the stock exhaust manifolds so take them off. That leaves the hose that runs along the drivers side 1/4 panel. That hose along with the one that runs into the air box are both connected directly to the air pump. Removing the fuse will keep it from pumping air but the best thing to do is just take it out. Its dead weight anyway (about 8lbs).
Its fairly easy to remove. Just take off the DS wheel and the plastic wheel well shroud. You'll see the pump right there behind the shroud.
