VE tune changed drastically when MAF re-enabled?
Nevermind....
Got VE right on the button (LTFT's = 0-3, just can't seem to get MAF to come around to where it's supposed to be...or even close.
If anyone has any tips or secrets to getting MAF dialed in, I'm all earsLast edited by rel3rd; 03-13-2009 at 05:08 PM.

Not sure? I was using this:

I was copy/paste special multiplying %, but not by half.
LTFT's with MAF enabled are anywhere from +8% to +18%
Truck actually was idling low, and dead spots just off idle, and running like crap after the third reflash, so as I got more aggravated I decided to reflash back to OLSD, where it runs fine, and try again tomorrow on the MAF tweaking.

goto
engine>airflow>dynamic airflow and set High RPM Disable to 1200.
This will curtail VE blending and put you 'on the MAF' totally by 1200 RPMs to allow you to really nail down the error.Last edited by Frost; 03-13-2009 at 07:15 PM.

As always, thanks for the tips/advice Frost.
As per our conversation, I lowered that setting to 0 and it took only 2 tries to hit it pretty much dead on. One "special - multiply % and one multiply by 1/2" fixed her up. On drive home log, I had most MAF Hz cells with several hundred hits, so I had good info to go with. All LTFT's are now 2 or less, except one measly straggler cell at 3, lol.
Funny thing:
After I talked to you I realized that I spent all morning "tuning" a MAF that I still had disabled from last night....DOH!!!!! No wonder I was datalogging all morning and no changes seemed to make any difference, LMAO.
Thanks again!
