Raced a 'Vette

So on the way home from school I see this guy in a vette. At first he doesnt look like he wants to race so I slow down and go traffic speed. So I'm sitting at a light with a few cars in front of me. I look in my rear view mirror and I see him coming up behind me. So he gets over to the empty lane and I know this motherfucker wants to race. I drop right behind him and we're off. We didnt chirp tires or anything. He took off and I was following him the whole way. He kept about a car length on me the whole time but wasnt pulling. I ended up hitting the fuel cut in first. I know I coulda been RIGHT with him if I didnt fuck up. At the next light he got into the left hand lane and turned. I gave him a thumbs up. It looked like a corvette around the same year as mine probably late 90's early 2000's. His was a vert too. I am glad with only headers and lid that I kept up. I'd have to go with I woulda beat him if we lined up properly.

Raced only thru first gear? Then you had an ejaculation (sorry, hit the rev limiter) from all the excitement. LOL. If he's an AT car and your M6, you should be able to take him.

I raced my buddy's '00 C5 and I would stay ahead of him till about 3/4's of the way through 3rd then he just leaves me. Both of us are M6's, and with just a few bolt ons. It's became a race war between us now. I think I'm going to win it though, lol.

Fun war to be in. Every time I've raced my friend's 99 AT 'Vette at the track, I get a new personal best, and he's pissed. He still hasn't gotten his 12 sec slip!
