So this may sound weird but it just seems hard for me to drink anymore,i can hardly stand the taste of any alcohol,i used to love it get drunk etc,im 33 now is this normal for my age,whet the hell is going on lol.

I slowed down alot for the last 2 years,i miss gettin messed up,when i want to get messed up then i drink and im like yuk,lol.

Gotta take it slowly. Start off with one beer, then work your way back up. You'll be back to normal in no time.

ive been sober for 5 months and i miss it terribly. i am miserable but its the right thing to do cuz im an angry drunk

i do feel a lot better and i can get up earlier, not waste my days and actually remember stuff.

Same here!

I rarely drink anymore. For me, it had allot to do with quiting smoking back in Jan of 07. I had to quit drinking to quit smoking.

Now, when I do party... I feel like crap the next day no matter how much fun I had the night before and think to myself.... Why did I do that?

Things just change. And, I figure it's for the better

Here in Europe drinking alcohol almost on a daily basis is much more common as you have your glass of wine with lunch and dinner and after work you'll have a couple of beers with your pals. May that's already a behaviour you could range among the beginning of alcoholism by certain standards, I don't know. I don't really care, but sometimes you worry about your liver may be, but I would never consider it as an addiction....

Sometimes I'll go with a beer and work my way to few, or, I will begin with a mixed drink, if not vodka to work my way to more drinks. I pace myself though. If I don't pace myself, well, it's "RALPH" time.

A mixed drink: I bought me a nice blender a few years ago and I like to mix cocktails: Long Island Ice tea, Boilermaker, Rusty Nail, Screwdriver are some of my favourites.......

Ya know, you just jogged my memory of drinks I haven't had in a WHILE. Screwdrivers are AWESOME, LI Iced Teas, Alabama Slammers...DAMMIT...I gotta plan out my summer.

I'm the same way I use to drink like a fish and loved it.; Then I crashed my snowmobile "sobber by the way" and was in the hospital for 5 month's and I guess it was like a detox I can't drink anymore. It's been 4 years now and I'll have a beer once in a while instead of 18 beers in a night. I feel like crap the next day though when I have like 4 or 5 and that's like once a year mainly in the summer. I was thinking of trying to smoke weed instead but it really stinks lol.

No you do get out of prctice and if you really want to get back at it believe me you can you just have to sink a few shooters and that usually starts it of.

Oh...God... I don't know. I think it's fruit punch with whiskey, rum, grenadine, and I don't know what else. But IT IS GOOD.

I use to be a big drinker... I was out at the bars from 8pm to 2 am 4 nights a week. I got the nick name Tank because how much i could drink. Now Tank is my Dogs name.
