Bought another WS6 but gota get rid of my other 1
I found my dream car 2002 WS6 deep navy blue only 28000 original miles beautiful condition not a flaw on her.....but I have to get rid of my other WS6....I've got a 2000 WS6 102000 miles, brand new GM cerified tranny, great condition, runs great. Askin 11000......is that to much? I looked online nationwide and I see the same car going in between 10 to 12 thousand. Get alot of calls but no call backs.

That amount of miles is gonna kill the sale.
Start listing it out there, but be prepared to take a lot less to dump it off, ...

Yeah to be honest that is a little on the high side... I hate it when people tell othe people how to price thier cars but, honestly that might be a little high but then again yu never know who might buy it..
I recently sold my 2000 SS with 146,000 for $6500... So yes,I speak from experience when I say that you are going to take a serious hit when you have higher miles.
It doesn't seem to matter to people how clean the car is or how well it is running (my SS was both a VERY clean car and ran in tip top form, didn't even use up oil like many LS1s are known to do). As soon as they see the odometer, they either get scared OR see a strong bargaining issue with the car...
So, good luck with your sale man... Try NADA and Blue Book to get a guesstimate of where to start and then boost it up some.... Trans Ams in general seem to bring in more than Camaros.

trans am 00 ws6- 1998 camaro ss vert
well i wouldn't say the miles are high. at almost 11 years old. that less the 10k a year with the average being 13k a year. where the problem comes in is it is over 100k. as soon as people see 100k they get nervous. it is black so that is good if m6 that helps. clean also? you should get 8500-11k depending on some of the things i mentioned.
most used car loans are for cars within 8 years of present date and under 80k miles. so yu willl have to find someone with cash. or a personal loan from a bank.
good luck with the sale.

Ya I got lucky that my cred union hooked me up on my SS.
02 35thLE vert with 58k. Cost me 12k.
No one else would even think of getting me the money when the stealership ran it. Then I called CU and they said no prob.

I spent months to find my 01 WS6 NBM Vert. Paid 13k with 44k. You are a bit high from what Ive seen while looking. BTW, NBM is an awesome color! Had 2 blacks before, think I like the NBM better.

the 100k mark sacres people esp. on these cars because people are worried about the TYPE of miles they were.....100k on a hyundai isnt 100k on a trans am if you follow what im saying

I know exactly what you are saying man...
Then again you can run across a Trans Am with just 8K miles on the counter only to find out they are all track miles!!
So in the end it's best to know something about these cars when buying or take someone with you that does and just go case by case.
