Just lost a close dear member of my family tonight.

This was Cici. She was 13 years old, lost her tonight.

Some unknown reason she got out of the back yard. She's never venture out past the driveway, found her a mile away from the house in front of our sub-division. She's never venture that far ever. No idea why tonight.

Some shit head hit her hard enough that they broke her in half. No skid marks so they never hit the brakes.

They took her collar, :wtf: why?!?! take her collar, who does that?!?!

My son & I buried her an hour ago in the back yard.

It sucks to lose a dog. To lose one that way would fill me with an amount of rage I hope I never have to comprehend. sorry to hear man :(

All are taking it very hard.

Sorry to hear that...my dog is like my best friend and I dont know how I would react if something happened to him. I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around because i've seen it happen time and time again in my life. Hopefully the people who did this will get what they deserve in the end...

I adopted her from a rescue pound at Ft Hood, she was found along the side of the road along with 3 brothers. She was a mix of German Shepard & Chow. That will explain the size difference. Not only sweet but protective of my family. Never had security worries when on long deployments.

I'm so very sorry, Scott :hug: There are people out there that just defy any logic. I would be completely broken hearted and absolutely livid at the same time.

What was on the collar? Maybe they took it to try and track you down?

my son just text me, said he thinks he found out how Cici got out of the fence. A house is getting built behind us and he found what looks like a rock or two blew through the boards making a hole big enough for her to fit through. He said yesterday that they had a tractor cutting the grass near our fence.

Shot tag and vet info. I've called the vet, no one has made contact. They'll let me know if they get a call. She was also micro-chip.
