Long story short the guy didnt want her and was going to shoot her because she wasnt performing. Her name is Izzy and she is an 8 month old Blue Australian Heeler.
She is a doll an absolute doll and if I cant find a good home for her I am going to keep her.

She is a cutie......my dad let her out of the pen though and she ran off. I am not particularly happy right now.

I'd look around outside shelter. I don't know what the temp is there, but here it's getting quite chilli at night. I'd suspect a stray dog to be burrowing somewhere to stay warm.
Problem is now, you'll probably have a hard time getting it to come to you...unless you have food.
It probably didn't like being caged. Might have reminded it of it's previous owner.
I looked.......I was out in the woods for hours today and the dog was gone. I am sure she will turn up (at least I am hoping). She was from a local breeder only a few miles away so I am going to check with him tomorrow and go back around to all the houses around here.
It was really caged. This is a $3,500 kennel with a big open section and a dog house about 10 by 10 with 8" ceilings. lol
This dog just touched my heart is all and I am so upset but she just took off like she knew where she was going.
those are normally pretty smart dogs.......my buddy had one though that ruined me on that breed. I will never own one. That was the most stubborn and hard headed dog I've ever seen. Little bastard ran off at least twice a week. If it saw any chance to get out the door it was gone. He used to bring it camping with us.....I hated that dog. He would run off in the middle of the woods and be gone for 2 days.

You are 5.0??????...this guy and I have known one another for years and I hated him but I felt I would give him a chance and for the past year or so I have been really quite decent to him. This throws him back on my shit list where he will be forever.
If you know the last oner of the dog, even if the last owner mistreated the dog, they probaly feed the dog and gave the dog shelter. "Thats were the dog might go".
