why would it be desperate? i dont get it, maybe its different in PA but where im from you go to the bar with your friends, if you meet a nice lady who is interested in going back your place you take her there and bang her brains out. she may not be wife material but if thats what your looking for maybe look somewhere else???

I am the same as you my friend.....most guys are and ALL sates are that way.

I would'nt say it's desperate..

But personally, I would'nt put much stock in any sort of meaningful relationship coming about through any level of intoxication..

I've done it a few times. Can't say it even comes remotely close in comparison with having sex with someone who you actually have feelings for; the feeling, the intensity, the over-all experience, etc.

Anyone can go to a bar and take home a girl and fuck her brains out. I could every night of the week if I wanted to. It's not challenging in the least bit. Trying to find someone who you are compatible with and see yourself long-term with is the challenge. Hence why more than 50% of marriages fail.

Most women, in general, have more of an emotional attachment with respect to sex. So when you take one home, bang her, then never call her again or want anything more than that, it leaves them feeling a bit worthless. Yes, of course, there are those occasions where women are just horny also and want some fun as well with no attachment after the fact.

I guess age plays a role here to some degree. Once you get older, you start to respect yourself more, and others, and have a different point of view on the matter.

That's the whole point in going to a bar otherwise save a shit ton of money and buy your booze at a store.
