PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Police say "Jackass" cast member Ryan Dunn has died of injuries sustained in a car crash in suburban Philadelphia.
West Goshen Township police say Dunn and a passenger in his 2007 Porsche died early Monday after the car left the roadway and burst into flames. The crash occurred near the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester.
Authorities say speed may have been a factor.
Dunn appeared on the MTV show that ran from 2000 to 2002 and its three big-screen adaptations. Most recently, he hosted "Proving Ground" on the G4 cable network.
A phone message left for Dunn's manager wasn't immediately returned.
Police say the passenger must still be identified.

there are rumors that this was a hoax...but i havnt found proof of it....
If he is dead then RIP, He was one of the best members of the jackass team.
If he was drunk driving.....it is a shame the jackass took someone with him....

THis is not a hoax. I lived in that area, have met him and have put a few back with him, and everyone that I have talked to, WISHED it was a hoax. Someone did Tweet on his site stating it was him, and that it was a stunt for an upcoming Jackass movie, but that is all false. The passenger has been identified. Even without alcohol, that road is very difficult at times, even doing the speed limit. The direction he was going, and the onramp he was attmepting just comes up on you and again, even doing the speed limit, I have gotten my car sideways before.

it was 322, which is straight as an arrow. he tried to negotiate the right turn onto the on ramp to Rt100 North, and failed.
