thats more of a matte, or even a semi gloss....flat looks like primer

I have painted a lot of cars and have to say gloss black is much better suited to fbodies. Flat black looks cool on the old 5.0 mustang and some.of the older Camaro's but just can't see it on a 93 and up fbody, just never look as good as the .normal.gloss blk especially if you smoke your.lights.since they will be the same glassy blk at least that's the way mine come.out. I painted a.240sx with the same basecoat blk AMuses and smoked the tails looked perfect when it was finished.
i wish i had taken a pic(on second thought im glad i didnt), but there was a 4.5 gen camaro that was flat black and imo it was just hideous. it just takes so much from the looks of the cars. now if you had like a hideous car to begin with like lots of 80s sports cars and compacts then it isnt so bad.

im not sure if its sick or not lol.. i saw a c6 vette down the shore with a flat black paint job and it was like the sickest thing ive ever seen... i think that trans am up there looks decent too... still not sure how it would be on my ss tho...
To me....the murdered out look isn't for newer style vehicles.
Although I did recently see a TBSS that was murdered out. I wouldn't have done it myself, but it looked fairly good.
I HATE black wheels on black cars. Really...I just dislike black wheels as a whole.
