A Warcraft Movie????

It looks like they have a good director and producer lined up. I'm not so sure how well a video game storyline will become a movie storyline.

It could be good, but I'm not holding my breath.

warcraft has a good story line... the movie should be damned good... will be lord of the rings kinda of deal for any one who doesn't follow war craft...

The warcraft story line is VERY "in depth". Most people don't know that Warcraft I, II, and III exist and that World of Warcraft is the only thing out there. I think a movie (or Trilogy even) might be cool if they don't deviate from the origional lore.

i agree... every one would probably think "no way... this is nerdy" or some shit but end up liking it... provided they stay with the story lines... it would be a long ass movie to... :lol:

Or be full of fail like the Dungeons and Dragons movie was.

But there is so much they can pull from. War of the Ancients, the Hordes invasion, Thrall story line, the BC story line, Wrath of the Lich King and so on. Tons of books and games to pull from for story and material. I just hope they dont try to include too much information and it become a mess.

Also hopefully we dont see Blizzard create the same issues Microsoft did with the Halo movie.

:yup: there is a VAST story to tell... but i wonder how they will tell it or if they will make a new story with a brief overview of what happened up to the lich king...

I did see a blue post once when the movie was first being talked about that they wanted to start the movie about one year before WoW takes place but i havent seen or heard anything more about that idea.

no, maybe i should look into the story, i only started playing when WotLK came out and then got burning crusade, so that is all i know.

I would love to see it, IF they do it right and not like the D&D flick.. I was so sad when that came out.
I haven't researched it yet. I did hear that Sam Raimi <sp?> was possibly involved.. That gives me hope.

i remember that i fell asleep for the DND movie and some ass hole dropped a piece of pop corn in my mouth cause i was snoring... i assumed it was the person behind me and when i was done choking punched thme in hte face while they were laughing... i got the wrong person... they ran out of the theater after i hit the dude behind me... :lol:
